<Poem>

<Translation>
Among the countless hills and valleys that attend Jing-men
Lies the village where Ming-fei was born and reared.
She left behind a purple dais for the northern desert:
Now there's just a green tomb against the yellow dusk.
Who could trace the spring wind's visage in a painted image?
On moonlit nights, with pendants jangling, only her ghost returns home.
For a thousand years pipa's played barbarian tunes.
How deep the heartache that must fill those songs!
